Dr. Maija Mikkola Curtis
Dr. Maija Mikkola Curtis ("Dr. Mik") grew up in Michigan and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. She graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2000. Following one of her dreams, she moved to the east coast in 2002. Since then, she has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery on the North Shore. Another dream has been to start a house call practice for the pets in the Boston City and Metro North area. Harbor Veterinary House Calls is the beginning of the dream.
When Dr. Mik is not working, she is not only busy chasing after her amazing son Caiden, but enjoys spending time playing ice hockey and sailing, hiking, and kayaking with her husband Matt.

Kate Terry:Kate has be working with dogs and cats as an animal care specialist and veterinary technician for over 10 years. She furthered her knowledge by apprenticing as a dog trainer at the doggy daycare she works at now. She helps run daycare and playgroups, as well as teaches obedience and agility classes.
Kate and her husband share their home with their two dogs, a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix named Leelu and an Chow mix named Tyler, as well as two cats, Fraggle and Joey and two chinchillas.
