We carry a wide variety of common medications and treatments with us to every house call visit, but if we do not have what you need on hand, we can give you a handwritten prescription, work with local/compounding pharmacies and online pharmacies.
Getting your pet to take his/her medicine
In order to make your pet's recovery a positive experience for both you and your pet, we have many suggestions on how to successfully get your pet to take their medication (since we know how many of our pets are experts when it comes to avoiding them).
Another option to help medicate pets is utilizing a compounding pharmacy. These pharmacies help formulate medications in a creative way- such as small dosing for tiny pets, flavored liquid formulations or even medication that can simply be applied on the skin instead! At your visit we will thoroughly discuss what is needed for your pet to have a smooth recovery!
